A Quick Stop in Bangkok
If you find yourself with a few hours to spare at Suvarnabhumi Airport, consider getting out of the airport for a quick taste of what Bangkok has to offer.  If you’ve got six hours or more during the day, catch a taxi straight to the Grand Palace and Wat Pra Kaew, then pop into the National Musuem.  From here, walk down to the river and catch a Chao Phraya Express boat down to Saphan Taksin and jump on the Skytrain up to MBK Shopping Centre.  Here you can cram in some shopping, grab a massage and then something to eat in the fabulous food court before heading back to the airport by taxi. If you don’t want to do it yourself, the airport runs a selection of tours for transit passengers.  Look for their tour desk advertisising “City Sightseeing” on the second floor of the arrivals terminal.  http://www.suvarnabhumiairport.com/indoor_map_transfer_passenger_tour_en.php
